SLP System and the environment Making an impact on the environment, The Right way! 1. The system is designed in such a manner that if not properly managed it will not adversely affect the environment.
2. Systems are constructed, operated and maintained to prevent the likelihood of discharged water causing offensive odours.
3. Where grey water is used in drip irrigation systems (recommended output method), adequate care must be taken to avoid the contamination of underlying aquifers and neighbouring water courses i.e. streams, rivers and dams.
4. SLP recommends the use of Enchantrix products throughout our client’s homes. Enchantrix organic products are highly effective, whilst being safe for you, your family and the environment. They contain organically grown plants, essential oils and pure spring water and are completely biodegradable. They will not harm our people, our animals or our earth. 5. Recycled grey water should only be used to irrigate tolerant plant species. 6. It should be noted that there are currently no published water quality criteria in South Africa that apply specifically to Grey Water Systems. |
